Purpose

-To Promote academic research and technology development related to the fields of Marine and Hydrographic Survey,
Oceanographic Observation, Chart Manufacture, Marine Information, Marine Geographical Names, Maritime Boundaries etc.)

-To improve the status of hydrographic engineers through high technical exchange programs in Korea and overseas

-To exchange information on hydrographic areas and to promote friendship among members.

Main Actvities

    To conduct research regarding hyadrographic areas.

  • To hold conferences

    To hold conferences, workshops, lectures etc. related to hydrographic matters.

  • To publish journals

    To publish journals, proceedings, and other manuals and books regarding hydrographic areas.

  • To give advice

    To standard Hydrographic fields, to organize and establish terms, technique cooperation and to give advice regarding hydrographic business from the Korean government or other public institutions.

  • To cooperate and organize joint

    To cooperate and organize joint activities with domestic and international organizations.
